Home schooling & ABA THERAPY
Homeschooling, Reimagined
When people hear the word homeschooling, they often picture one thing:
a stay-at-home parent, a kitchen table, and a rigid schedule that only works for a very specific kind of family.
But that’s not reality for most families—and it doesn’t have to be.
At Lotus, we believe homeschooling can look many different ways. It can be flexible. It can be collaborative. And it can absolutely include professional support, structure, and social connection.
Homeschooling isn’t about doing everything on your own. It’s about choosing an educational path that meets your child where they are—and fits your family’s life.

We are committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care in an environment where children can grow, explore, rest, and thrive.

Let's Clear Up Some Common Myths
You don’t. Homeschooling does not mean a parent has to stop working or take on the role of full-time teacher. Families can partner with educators, clinics, and structured programs to support learning during the day.
Socialization doesn’t only happen in a traditional classroom. It happens through peers, community outings, shared activities, play, sports, and real-world experiences—many of which are intentionally built into our clinic model.
Homeschooling simply means your child’s education happens outside of a traditional school system. It can take place in a clinic, in the community, online, or through a combination of all three.
When done thoughtfully and ethically, ABA can support learning, independence, communication, and engagement—while respecting your child as a learner, not just a set of goals.
