Our story
The lotus flower (nelumbo nucifera) is an aquatic perennial whose roots are planted deep into the soil of a pond or river bottom. The young lotus bud must forage its way through the murky waters to eventually rise above the surface and reach the sunlight where it will bloom into a beautiful flower. We believe there is a similarity between how a lotus flower blooms and how a child with autism develops.
Autism resembles the murky waters and environmental challenges the child is born into, while ABA is the help they need to overcome the associated hardships of their diagnosis and eventually reach the sunlight of their fullest developmental potentials where he will bloom into a beautiful human being. We wholeheartedly believe that all children on the autism spectrum have the potential to develop into happy, well-educated, fully functioning members of society.
